Based in Wayne, New Jersey, Matthew Paladino has served the Belleville Board of Education as a business administrator and board secretary since 2017. Matthew Paladino serves as the district's chief financial and operational officer for the operating budget of more than $130 million, including acting as a financial advisor to the superintendent, state monitor, and board of education.

Matthew Paladino has managed a clean audit record during his tenure while developing transparent financial policies and effective internal controls. He has successfully led several multi-million-dollar capital projects and managed a $48.5 million bond referendum for student safety and security upgrades.

Initially, Matthew Paladino joined the district as an assistant business administrator. He has held similar positions with the South Bergen Jointure Commission, the Bergenfield Board of Education, and the Ridgefield Park Board of Education, among others.

Academically, Matthew Paladino earned an accounting degree from Seton Hall University and a master of science in management from St. Elizabeth University. Throughout his career in education leadership, he has established himself as a member of several professional organizations, including the New Jersey Association of Educational Leaders and the New Jersey Association of School Administrators.
